Ah k. We got kicked out at the end due to being accused of hitting a zombie with a gun. So never got the close out as you've mentioned.

Don't tell me cause birds will hit you haha

LOL!

What did Sargent butch woman say about coming in contact with zombies... At the start when briefing and signing you in...

glad i got a stat dec before he drove it...

FWIW he has previously owned a GTIR and a recent model GTS commo

What was the stat dec required for?

So if any shit happens you are in the clear?

LOL!

Nah she was fine. The other people though didn't want to hear our side of the story... Friend will be calling in as our head cam footage shows what really happened...

Mine wasn't officially a stat dec, but when I bought my skyline, I signed a bit of paper for the owner saying that as of 7:20pm on xx/xx/xx any fines or incidents involving xxx car are the responsibility of Simon (Licence Number xxxx) and not the previous owner xxxx.

There's that grey area when its not transferred into your name yet, so any red light / speed cameras go to the previous owner.

Re-do the mission and talk to the NPC's.

Sargent would have explained the traitor after the mission, from your first round.

Sometimes you can, usually the artist will disable that shit though

Haven't yet, it's out soon/now isn't it?

Downloaded it a few days ago...few good tracks, not as hard as his previous work which is more my style but still goes alright.....Some good tracks to kick back and chill too, perhaps whilst smoking some marijuana, if you're that way inclined

I see!

Yeah will be good to take a look at the head cam.

Ah ok, I remember something like that when I bought my Corolla.

Like you said.

Awesome, thanks!

when I scuba'ed in Fiji water was warm enough that I jsut went in tshirt and shorts, no wet suit.

same as boracay in the past couple weeks.

Vanuatu I was diving to 40 meters to suited up for that.

for an intro dive you will be doing 9-12 meters so not much cooler than surface temp.

As a you are limited to 10-12m anyway as a Discovery Dive under PADI etc - so it's not cold at all, plus you are swimming around and it's rather hard work depending on level of fitness and how calm you are, as some people freak out a bit for some reason and will suck the ass outta their tank in 15-20mins @ 10m

Tshirt/boardshorts are fine, I usually don't even need a t-shirt, just a singlet so you dont get too much rubbing of the BCD.

apparently you need to do a course or something and have a cert for it though?

ya intro drive/bubble maker/discoverdive whatever the F they call it

limit 10 meters.

you will be fine

and what ash says I weat the tshirt to stop rubbing of the gear.

I have my ticket so qualified to deeper thus the photos down to 40 meters.

apparently you need to do a course or something and have a cert for it though?

Nope. :)

To do a discovery dive you don't need to do anything - It's basically an introduction dive and you are limited to 12m from memory (it might be 10).

A Dive Master will accompany you usually in a group of 3, if there are more then there will be extra instructors. They will manage the depth, length of dive and various other things for you.

Basically you will do a familiarisation in a pool or on-shore before going out. How the gear works, signals that you need to know underwater and how to recover in the event of an issue/accident and so on. All basic safety stuff and it takes about 30-45mins usually if you are competent. Sometimes it might take a little longer if you aren't getting a feel for it easily which happens more often than people think.

I've never gotten around to doing my proper qualifications, although I should, and I've done maybe 10 discovery dives in the past 5 years.

Thailand is good as you don't need to generally go deeper than 10-12m to see heaps of shit anyway and I'm pretty good @ diving and have good buoyancy control via my breathing which is probably the hardest thing to get right - but they will explain all that to ya during familiarisation.

It would be advisable to take a Diving Medical before you go - to ensure you are 100% fit to dive as you might have some underlying inner ear issue that at depth, can cause you pretty major issues. There aren't a lot of Doc's that do them, so get onto that tomorrow.

    • Also had a look at the Nissan JP website looks like the 400r has a slightly shorter ratio than than the regular V37 3.133 VS 2.937 which from a guy who has driven both 3.69 vs 4.11 ratios in the S15 is bugger all. Seems that the AUTO Z runs the same ratio as the 400R but can't find any info as to if its an open or LSD? More often than not the auto LSD is open
    • Do not replace the power steering lines with this stuff. If it's anything like the Chase Bays stuff it will leak and be worse than stock. The reason why the reservoir is on the LH/passenger side of the car is because that's just where the reservoir was most convenient to fit. Don't overthink this stuff. The intake/cold side of the engine is pretty busy on these cars. And again, the hardpipe is designed to be a janky power steering cooler. In theory you can replace it with a real power steering cooler but that's really only for track use where boiling the fluid is a distinct possibility. Start with the low pressure lines feeding the pump from the reservoir. Make sure there isn't a bunch of junk in the reservoir filter. Be careful to not get ATF all over the engine bay. I hate dealing with ATF spills, you can clean it up and the slightest crevice will still release more oil that can still drip over time. You also want to inspect for leaks before you make a mess and can't tell what happened. Most likely you have a leak somewhere that is allowing fluid out and air in. Failing that it's allowing air in but not fluid out. Only place I can really see that happening is on the low pressure side because the pump will pull a slight vacuum to draw fluid in. Everything after the pump is high pressure or lower pressure, approaching atmospheric by the time it returns to the reservoir.
    • I did a skidpan night at SMSP this week, it was much cheaper than $350. But yeah, you need to slap an LSD in that thing.  I put an OS Giken in the 370Z and it's f**king MARVELOUS even compared to Nissan's viscous LSD. So you're saying it's free now that it's a housing estate? 😂
    • Nah, the car seems to run exactly as it did prior, in saying this it does "seem" to be better down low, like more eager to rev, but that may be 100% placebo effect from intake noise But, I'm not worried about it at all, in the end it is a fairly low compression NA engine that has a well shrouded intake,  if it is getting hotter IAT I cannot notice anything negative performance wise from the seat of my pants thrashing it about on the street or sitting in traffic, so meh, car now now makes induction noise so I'm happy
    • Do you have an IAT sensor? It's worth checking it to see. You may be suprised how little gap you actually need to flood your engine with hot air. (I tape up my airbox for a reason) :p
