paying for a power run was a great idea... turns out the fuel pump was on it's way out so the owner replaced it with a new walbro 255 and also new iridium plugs! :)

radiator was cracked and rear rotors on their last legs, so we swapped em out today.

chasers even kept the car overnight to fix up the fueling and tune for me for the price of the power run... pretty fkn good for a shop I have never used before (know the guys but not that well)

pretty happy with the purchase

all i need is front and dump pipe, LICP and boost cont and i'll be sitting at ~210awkw

COME AT ME SECOND HAND PARTS!!!

Hope it turns up ok man

Not much consolation but insured?

One is lost and another is born! Such is life

Holiday from friday, but not going anywhere so will be fitting hugger, fender eliminator and tinted screen over the break

Exhaust is on, looking and sounding porn but bike remains on stands, naked.

waiting on power commander, then can put it all back together, with new indicators front and rear as well as fender eliminator

my friends car was broken into outside his house. Thief tried to start the car but couldnt due to the mongoose alarm. (alarm was off, so immob was stopping him) However due to no siren the guy took his time trying to steal it. Fed up, the theif left the car (which had te37's in the back seats) & stole a tow-truck from a motel. Came back to my friends house and took his car on the tow-truck.

Tow truck had gps tracking and cops were notified. Cops took chase, tow-truck crashed. Thief jumped out and ran off. Any harder hit, and my friends' car would have fallen off the tow truck....

Well the go pro isn't all that great. It's already frozen 3 times. Locked itself.. And it's not playing back properly on the laptop

Not as unhappy as Toby. But unhappy

On a plus side the USA number plate came

Alarm/Immob Tony?

Who did the install?

Sorry to hear man :(

Cheers brah

Just an immobiliser.

It being stolen wouldn't have bothered me so much if it was before I started modding up the car.

Not the end of the world as that is what insurance for.

Car has been spotted at Shell Emerald Petrol station. Police getting CCTV footage

Hopefully the dumb cnt paid with his bank card or credit card lol

Hey everyone, i know this is going a few pages back... but regarding coil packs and issues with them; Mine on my R34GTT seem to have started playing up (shaking, mainly noticeable on idle) and car has far less power than normal.

This happened to my previous R34GT and i replaced the whole lot with Yellowjackets, this fixed the problem.

I've ordered some replacements but my main concern is if i'm doing any damage to the car by driving it around before i receive/install the replacements.

Because i know there's a problem i am driving it like a nancy boy as i'm worried i'll screw something up.

    • Pre-empting heat management  1. The Kraken manifold will be ceramic coated 2. Just purchased some peel and stick heat shielding stuff from car builders, I'll cover some of the firewall behind the dump and a little on the cam cover, this will be done prior to installation as I have ample room to get where I need to now before that realestate has more bits in the way, I'm also planning to modify the OEM heat shield to go back on, but that won't happen until after installation so I know where to hack it up, I'll also cover it with some some peel and stick to neaten it up after the hacking 3. As the dump is stainless with a flex joint coating isn't really a option, and wrapping isn't recommended for a stainless dump, so once it is installed I'll grab some shielding from car builders to cover the dump, as it has some stand off, it "shouldn't" cause any issues and it "should" just keep the radiant heat away from " melty engine bay stuff" Not for heat management, but I've grabbed some more black crinkle coat to paint all the shiny intake pipes, I'll pick the pipe work up prior to installation and use the paint booth and big oven at work to cure them, I'll then wrap them with some bubble wrap so they stay nice during installation

    • YO- have been searching and searching for an a31 chassis plug pinout, or someone who knows which wire is for tach.  ceffy was flooded past dash during a hurricane.  having an electrical gremlin appear. tach is wonky reading consistent with a short, and on occasion the right side of my speedo lighting will flicker just for a second then go back to normal.  if no pinout available does anyone know if the tach harness opens or branches anywhere behind the dash? im suspecting a possible root behind the radio as there are more shorts in that area on the accessory loop.
    • Means something is not set up right, tune/calibration related.
    • Finally replaced the previous temporary mesh indicator surrounds (temporary was the last 10+ years 😂) with a 3D printed GTR style version for the front indicators. I think it looks a lot nicer than the old setup and at least the indicators now point in the correct direction rather than angled off. Needed a little bit of tweaking to deal with the intercooler piping but got there in the end. Old and new photos below.
