4 doors, newer, more comfortable. But unsure about comfort factor...was riding in Aaron's the other day and I rate my Skyline for better comfort. I do like the cushy lounge style seats of the 90s.

The front would be comfortable for your skinny ass

To be honest I find it pretty comfortable, but I'm coming from a small car extremely hard to get out of

2lt is not a problem at all birds...

given the gearing and diff ratio, my evo has basically the same amount of lag and almost the same length powerband my 33 had

feel free to drive it any time

You forgot to mention half the power lol

You forgot to mention half the power lol

yeah, there's that too :/

i'd say that given drive ratio's and diff... evo's need slightly less power to be quicker in the lower gears..

i'd estimate evo 200 feels about the same as gtst 230...

not to mention that in the wet i have 700 times the power now lol

I beg to differ, I wAs keeping up fine with the 240kw plus cars down the straight at sandown. It's a very under estimated car

Given above 150kph, is when they start to pull away

Even gave Scott a run for is money in the 350kw Stagea. He only pulled away at 120kph.

Hence why he bought one lol

I want to see this first hand. Not saying I don't believe you

Tonight

Your car vs say Simon/Birds

Roll on from say 70km/h. That's about the exit speed at Sandown onto the coming straight

from what aaron has said about this sandown trackday i'm beginning to think that semma didn't die that fateful day... he just got badly burned and decided to go into hiding as a srilankan collections worker

What? Who's semma

    • For what it's worth (I'd never looked at the button closely enough to work out it has a person on it!) with the switch 'active' double-pressing the unlock on the remote will cause lights to turn on. As I recall it will cycle through plain-unlock, unlock-with-park-lights and unlock-with-headlights as you repeatedly double-press unlock.
    • I'm not defending Haltech. They had some golden years, but their history of problem products goes back a loooong time before that and now. My bro-in-law swore off them 15 years ago. Same stuff. Firmware bugs, patchy tech support complete with total ignorance of what was going on. Doesn't mean that there are not 5 or 6 other excellent options - most of which were also born in Australia.
    • mines a bit too fresh of a build, need to put more km on it before im ballsy enough to go further
    • I agree their STREET is limited in features, but both their RACE and PRO models have everything you could possibly need (I.E Knock, Built in EGT, Built in Wideband, Dual DBW, etc.) It's also cheaper in comparison with anything Haltech has to offer and more importantly from what I hear it actually works well.  I'm a little bias these days as Haltech has really turned into a pile of poop lately.. I don't know what's happening with their firmware team but I'm thinking it's outsourced and their cutting costs. There's always massive bugs, they're not doing any testing, there's no revision control (I.E They acknowledged a few months back that they accidently released an unfinished firmware). It feels like they're being run by bean counters vs actual software & electrical engineers. They seem to be to busy releasing new products as opposed to fixing software issues. As of 2-3 weeks ago they started a beta program to presumably op the rest of the end users out of unwillingly testing firmware's. I'm happy they're starting to listen to all the complaints. Hopefully it gets better fast.
    • Any plans to seal it from the cabin? It will throw plenty of oil/grime over the years. On my auto to manual Stagea there is a custom ally sheet  to cover most of the hole then the standard rubber seal is attached to that to join to the shifter
