I'll be there at the SE Premeet, we can give it a crack and see what's what... Even though I still haven't hard wired the fuel pump, so run out of pressure if I'm on it too long (Not going to happen on the street)

Your car is a little laggy and down in rwkw though lol

I'll jog your memory...

You were reported to have died on 1 May 1994, as a result of your car crashing into a concrete barrier while you were leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Italy.

as a result of your injuries and now crispy brown skin, you decided to hide away from all the attention as a young sri lankan man living in Australia... you adopted the name Aaron, because it was the first name in the book.

From here you continued to live undercover as a simple car enthusiast, however at one fateful sandown trackday, your raw talent simply could not be hidden!

Here you kept up with far more powerful cars including stagea's skylines, ferraris, radicals, zonda's, pagani's and mclarens.

It was at this point that I realised that I am extremely bored at work... and that YOU... MUST... BE... SENNA...

Aaron can I take it for a spin drive around the block while we're at the premeet? I'm interested to see what its like to drive one, stiffness etc.

Your Evo keeping up with them fast cars on the straights must of had Senna driving it to keep up :P

either that, or they are lying about power figures(common) or they were actually doing 80% and i wasnt lol

and scotts car is 2 tonnes lol.

but i do believe that the evo keeps up with quite a lot of other powerful cars.. 4th gear pull on the freeway to overtake is phenomenal

      Have you found that you have to tighten your alternator belt once in a while? Mine has started to squeal again after the mechanic tightened it roughly a year ago and the engine starts up slow if I don't start it every day (think the starter motor is going out). It used to be if I don't drive it once a week I'd get a quick squeal on the belt but now it's every day or every other day. I might make a post of the start up sound.

      I spent the entire of the long weekend going through my garage and I'm now, after 3.5yrs in this house, able to fit a car in. The garage is quite long and the back half has a high enough ceiling for a 2 post lift but it's going to just take too much space and I don't think I'd be able to get around the car if it was in the air. So, in comes the quick lift. It looks perfect. High enough to do most things, I reckon even getting a gearbox out would be doable.  Does anybody here have one? They're fairly cheap (~$3k) considering...  https://www.dtmtrading.com.au/product/quick-lift-portable-vehicle-hoist-3500-kg-worksafe-approved/ I'm also a bit of a non risk taker so I'd probably still use stands when under!

      Well now we all see it! I did the same. Then cut it out. Then melted half of it. Then discarded it entirely. So... you're in good company.

      I just replaced the god awful, sagging, crunchy bonnet insulation. It's something nobody but I see but it's been at me for a while.
