Just watched the new episode the other day too

zomg suits. best show ever.

Alex, it's season 2, but all the shows go for a break over christmas. Simpsons, Family Guy etc.

On a slightly relevant note, I'm trying to figure out the bag that Mike has. I want one like it for work. Probably some $1000 calf leather thingy.

They axed Last Resort. Fuckers.

Oh gotcha I was told it was season 3 same shit though we all on the same page

I'm not an it savvy lad not even sure what torrent is

easy man, download torrent from eztv or piratebay or what ever, download utorrent client program

run the torrent, it'll download, stop the torrent when complete (so you're not "seeding" or uploading), watch the show! easy as!

Immature approach: Start a fire on your balcony, high enough that smoke/flames pass through/up onto theirs. The choking/burning will soon make them write a note to you. Then tell them to just move their kiddy pool inside, cause it's only for really cold nights...and hell...if your place caught fire, then theirs would get scorched anyway.

Mature approach: Speak to your body corporate, assuming you have one. Oh and play loud subtitles at 3am, they'll quickly get the hint.

I was thinking of getting a hose and spraying the shit out of their balcony and windows and say "the same thing would have happened with lashing rain". But in all seriousness if they do it again I will contact the property management and get them onto body corp.

I come seeking wasteland advice on a neighborly dispute I'm currently having.

Myself and a friend moved into an apartment about 4 months ago and we noticed that the people who live above us often empty buckets of water onto the floor of their balcony, which quickly seeps through the floor and ends up on our belongings. ($200 barbeque, $300 furniture set & an $800 wooden foosball table imported from Italy.)

There have been a few occasions when we were outside and they have done this and our stuff and ourselves have gotten wet. We have tried to yell out to them to ask them to stop, but here's the catch... They are deaf.

Last night after being out with some friends I came home at about 2am and there was water going everywhere all over our balcony. All of our stuff was getting really soaked. At this point I wrote a note saying "Hello, could you please stop emptying your water onto our balcony? It is damaging our belongings that are below you. Thank you." and put it under their door.

This morning I had a note under my door saying "Hi, sorry, it's our toddler's little pool used during heatwaves. Move your things in a bit! If it was lashing rain, same thing would happen! We only did it twice and we only empty the pool over night so take your things inside or move stuff further."

The thing is it has not been hot for days, our balcony is tiny so we can't move stuff over and I can't take the foosball table apart to fit it through the door every time they decide to empty a pool onto us. I have a feeling that if I try talk to them in person they will ignore us because they are deaf and not very friendly. I have a feeling that if I write another letter explaining I can't simply move our stuff and it has not been wet when it has been lashing rain it may start a cat fight.

How would fellow wastelanders deal with this same situation?

write back saying that if the rain damages my belongings that's my fault for having them outside, however when someone is damaging my belongings and it continues to happen I will call the estate agents etc etc

You pay for your apartment, balcony included and there should be no leaking water going onto it, unless it is raining

Otherwise don't worry with note and just call agents, either way they have no right to be spilling water over the side, pool or not for a toddler

Sometimes it seems people with children think they can do what they want

site looks like a great place to shop for overpriced parts.

seriously? it costs me less to ship the same stuff direct from the US from ECS or UroTuning etc. And when they have a sale, way less. Hell even from the UK and Germany is less.

I guess the appeal is in the meet up spot?

Yeah wouldn't buy anything from there, way overpriced. Actually only thing I did buy was a RossTech micro CAN usb which was $300, but that's the same cost directly from RossTech anyway

But yeah it's more for the meet location

    • ADHD in all form isn't about "can focus, or can't focus" or is hyper active or isn't etc.   It's all a dysregulation. Either time feels to be stationary, or time just vanishes in a split second. We are either under focussed on the task at hand (as we're over focussed on our surroundings) or we have no idea an atomic bomb went off beside us as we're so hyper focussed and locked in on things.   Not to mention the rapid fire thought process. What it takes a "normal" process to think up a solution to a problem, ADHD will be able to give you 5 different ways to solve the problem, and the pros and cons of each. While we can be highly impulsive and lack the ability to "control ourselves" we can also become paralysed with the inability to make a decision for ourselves. While most of us have an OCD like requirement for perfection, we lack the ability often to remain focussed to get things to a perfect state. Those with undiagnosed ADHD as adults, can often find the last part actually stops them ever attempting to do things that they have the ability to do, as the reasoning is often "if I can't do it perfectly, it's not worth doing"   As for projects... Ha ha ha, I still need to take the other half of my wall trim down in the Fiance's office so I can paint it. Need to finish digging and running the back yard drains, my R33, getting the Ninja bike registered (now being sold), the moped project, fixing either of the lawn mowers so they're reliable, along with a myriad of other things.   It's why I've been going through lately and just being brutal and clearing projects off that I won't actually ever complete. IE, moped will go to the tip, or be given away, bike is being sold, Subaru project being sold, some parts for other projects given away. Or I've been making myself focus on one thing at a time, by ticking off the smallest quickest ones first.   There's also a reason by our mid twenties we seem to be "know it alls", as we've all been down some of the weirdest and oddest rabbit holes when you follow the dopamine trail. It's often also why we're more a jack of all trades, but not a master of one.   However, pretty much all of my hobby projects, in one way or another, all come back around to automotive. That's my zen area.
    • Remember reading about this not too long ago. been for sale for a long time  this is like when the wife says you need to sell the car so you put it up for a ridiculous price no one will pay
    • You are perhaps suggesting that it is not a super car? Well....it's not an AU.
    • Dropped the MX5 of this morning to get the hardtop colour matched and some PDR done, they are also going to give it a buff to remove some "stubborn" swirl marks and light scratches in the clear coat Over the last few months the poor little thing has copped some shopping centre car park abuse, I try to not park in them, but hitting Westfield's a few times over the last few months has taken its toll, nothing really bad, but enough of a trigger for a "while we're in there" thingie  Once it's back and all the one colour, with a few dents and mark's removed I'll give some of these products a go and see what they're like
