ive been to KBox (nothing suss) in the CBD and its not bad. Extensive song list in 6 different languages, but im not into the J-Pop and endless Lady Gaga so you narrow down the list pretty quickly.

However, the most fun karaoke ive had was at Strike in QV. Room right next to the bar, same drink specials as the bowling crowd so cheap jugs. Song collection was a lot more Western orientated and had a very messy, fun night. 8/10
