My process for a White Car with decent condition paint...

@ The local Spray'n'Pay
1min High Pressure Rinse to remove solid chunks.
1min run around with the Tyre, Wheel & Engine cleaner to break down the oils and crap (It's not overly strong at my local place, so doesn't kill the wax etc)

1min High Pressure Rinse
3min to go over the car with a microfiber cloth

1min High Pressure Rinse

Move it to one of the detailing bays and dry it off with a different microfiber cloth

I do this maybe once a fortnight on my way home from work...

If I'm feeling keen and its a weekend, I'll then take it home, give it another quick wipe down with a clean cloth and then give it a quick coat of wax on wax off, Mr Miagi style.

I don't have full days free every month to do constant detailing on it :P

Y U no wash at home?

When I do a touch up wash at the car wash, it goes:

- High pressure soap to cover the entire car and leave to soak for a minute

- High pressure soap holding gun 30cm from car and running it over each panel, takes bout two minutes

- High pressure rinse off and low pressure / clean water rinse if time left

This leaves car spotless from a metre away!

Everyone who washes their car regularly should at least wax; makes it so much easier to wax and dirt scratches car less.

Plus who doesn't love a good wax on the bonnet and then driving in the rain and seeing the rain drops actually bounce up 10cm off the car after they hit it :)

a well waxed car you wont even need high pressure or waterless wash crap

hell I just clean my car with a spray bottle of light detergant and a chamois most of the time..takes about 10 minutes

no... someone in a green car touched the mrs... will need to use

fyp....

seriously though...clay probably wont fix that....but i can ;)

It could do with a decent detail actually... A few of the panels need some correction :/ and the front bar needs a fiberglass repair / respray first though.

Then it'll be much nicererer.
