an omelette... with eggs?!

and the EF3 plans? naice.

ef3 is already installed.

benny from benchmark will be remote tuning it soonish.

had to fix the wideband not logging via the ecu (fixed last night, was referencing the wrong data point), and i blew out 1/4 of the head/manifold gasket (replaced that monday morning before work) and the previous owner chopped 10cm out of the lower radiator hose so i had to replace that so the intake pipe would fit on nicely (fixed that tuesday morning before work)

the 2.3 kit parts are all sitting there waiting, just need the cashola to have it built, but im in no rush, with the ef3 instead of the gt30 its so much nicer to drive, even on the stock 2L.

orange juice for extra flavour.

Yes four stud (only need 8 for front) and yes i prefer steel over the aluminium Rays ones that have basically been stripped.

I need 1.25 thread because Nissan

mine were used on the skyline (LMGT2 wheels have retardedly small holes for the nuts)

i assume the evo is the same as the magna which is 1.5 thread iirc, which means they are useless to me. if you want them $20 posted

yeah have read good things about benny on evooz.

i would be leaning towards and ef2 or ef2.5 i think, but if you've got a 2.3 to go on later... sweet as. exciting times.

the 3 isnt what i would call laggy, it makes some positive pressure at 2k (0.1-0.2 bar) and at 3k makes ~1bar.

if i didnt have the 2.3 kit, or a skyline that was making 390kw previously, my pick for a low cost setup would be an evo 9 turbo on E85, or get the GTPumps slightly tickled version with titanium rear wheel if you have a larger budget (same as what lance has (black evo 5 making high 290kw on e85))

I bet after it comes on, it's all smiles :P

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards tbh. Or perhaps a bbk lite (or maybe even full) / fp green if i'm searching for a bit more... but E9/RS turbo looks like srs contender for the route I take.

i looked at the BBK and FP turbos, but 2300/2500 for a high flow stock turbo, no thanks.

at the moment its only running gate pressure (18psi) so it goes but its got nothing on the skyline in terms of how rapidly it gains speed.

Nothing definate yet, Let me just check if the lady is free for din dins

Hi bubs,

How's your day going?

Would you like to go out for dinner tonight?

I'd love to go try out that Japanese place, Chiba, that my friend works at, and he's working tonight

Hi Simon,

There is so much going on in my head all the time and so much I don’t and can’t talk to you about. I have been trying to talk to you all week, since you returned from DECA, but I was so overjoyed to see you and spend time with you that I kept procrastinating. We have such a wonderful time together. You are the most amazing person I have ever met…

But there is something wrong with me. I can’t be with you. My heart has been severed in two and part of me is lost. I just keep telling myself that with more time passing and us becoming close, things would get better inside of me, but they haven’t. And it’s killing me. I can’t keep in avertedly hurting you, and me by continuing this. I have so much guilt about it. And so much pain.

Please don’t hate me forever…I wish more than anything, that you could be happy…but I am not the person to do it.

I love you and I’m sorry.

Dat stock spool? :P

Haha... what's the plans with Benny's tune? ~25psi?? Evo's boost monsters.

Reply = Her breaking up with me for some unknown reason... da fuq?

If srs... wtfux :(

Simon brah

That shit is whack and I knew where if was heading from the first line. I wouldn't have even replied to it; breaking up over email...

That last line is a kicker and will provide me with sufficient lulz and/or jimmy rustling for the day.

Consider it a bullet dodged early on, my man.

How long we're you with her for?

EDIT: almost forgot to ask, was she any good in bed? I would expect at least an R = 0.8 correlation for dat dere cray cray.

Going to leave it at gate pressure for now.

Will go crazy on it once built, don't want any chance of block windows, ain't nobody got time for dat.

I don't intend on using e85 on it at this stage, I only want ~300kw from it.

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.
    • Thanks for taking the time to post that ! If anything changes or happens please do update us.
    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
