That is f**king stupid. How can alleged speeding actions justify an illegal defect???

He has a strong case and is throwin it out

If he was speeding cops would have got him for that too/instead. They got him for defect cause they had nothing on him.

Defect got a time written on it? If so, I'd get an alibi from work saying he was at work when the defect was issued therefore car was in his driveway and cop must have looked up address to locate his car.

Yeah he was at work when he got defected lol, was like 8:30 I dunno as I said not my problem so meh

Oh yeah Leigh, I was at gym the other night; overheard a couple people in the carpark talking about Petite. I interrupted them to show your brother's photo, they were naturally shocked. My folks coudn't believe that the police defected him in his driveway. I reckon if you put the vote to everyone in Victoria, whether the police should have the power to do this stuff or not, it would landslide pass with a no. People just don't know about it or don't care, because the people it actually affects are something of a minority. When will this shit end?

Eh I know what you're saying man but I'm just too busy ATM to cause a ruckus about it :\ plus it's not my car so I'll respect his decision.

Which gym fellows were they?

I can't believe that.

What sort of lowlife scum takes pleasure in being an absolute prick.

Fair enough, maintain the standards of the law and protect the public in general, but exactly what do the police achieve by inconveniencing people for no reason?

I would be fuming and not let that one go. Comes down to private property vs implied access and the fact that a registered vehicle must be roadworthy.

Anyway- if he does not want to pursue it further, fair enough, would take a lot of effort/time.

A wild ali has appeared.

Get well Hamo and happy birthday hipsterman.

Wouldn't really take much time, it'd end up in court they won't show and it'll be overturned but it'd still be halt a day sitting around in court doing waiting and not getting paid.

Would be worth it unless your days pay is more than the defect.
