With Flex fuel more so thinking on long trips and the ability to use any fuel you want

So say your driving on a long trip you got 1/4 fuel of e85 left. You fill up the rest with 98octane since there is no e85.

Load up the map for 98 octane

Is it still ok to drive with a mix of 98 and e85 or?

would run richer with 1/4 tank of e85, but would still work.

Cool beans

What fuel pump you recommend for ~400rwkw and e85?

My ID 1000 injectors would be ok yeah?

ID's will be fine. I have a cheap 460L e85 Walbro sitting here with your name all over it. :P

you would also want the ecu controling boost as you can run a heap more on E85 than 98.

I have always run the same boost on 98 and 85 and still achieved a massive gain

Just keep a couple of empty jerry cans and a siphon with you, so you can drain the tank of ethanol at the servo if you have to. Or better yet, plan the trip better. But they can tweak your 98 map to accept a bit of ethanol; should be fine anyway.

1000 injectors will be plenty; they should be capable of 500rwkw+ in a 6 cylinder application.

Same, my +35rwkw midrange was at the same boost as 98. All in the timing freedom.
