$5.5k for both eyes?

What kind of eye defect?

I'm short sighted... a lot... -7.25 and -7.5... wonder if its the same price :/

yeh both eyes, i was short sighted i think about -6.5 or similar. Should be the same price - this is if you are a good candidate (ie thick enough eye to cut a flap in)

ASLA is an alternative if not.

Is it true what they say about it only lasting for 10 years? and then you can't get it done again in the future?

Or is the tech advancing, so in 10 years time even if it does fade and I start needing glasses again, something else will be there to fix it again...

That's wrong, my dad got it done almost 20 years ago and still going fine.

The Dr said probably 50s or 60s i might need reading glasses but thats about it. So normal really. Its great for all the little things in life that glasses piss you off with.. showering..sunnies..beach..amusement park rides..helmets etc
