They are mad fun to drive in n/a underpowered form, I can only imagine the wicked times I would have in a charged one.

That being said, going from 86 to my R33 makes it feel like a brutal race car.

Nah not even, If anything you feel more aware and safe on a bike. Besides, I see way more accidents involving cars than bikes.

I wouldn't of expected feeling safer!

:(. hope the poor bloke is alright.

dicey is relative i suppose, as a lot of your safety is up to you when riding, i feel. have to be mindful of anything and everyone. doesn't matter whose fault it was when you're going to come off worse! that said despite not having a huge amount of experience yet, still think riding is excellent fun, #noregrets.

more aware, probably. more safe? debatable i think, haha; car vs. bike, pretty sure we'll always lose out! and more accidents involving cars is a given; probability with the majority.

Yeah i suppose thats the thing, no matter whos fault - you come off, you have alot more chance of being hurt, though people are getting hurt / dieing in some cars which are ment to be safe as f**k.

Nah not as bad as people make it out to be. The longer you stay in the game the more dangerous it is, though. Your riding style and attitude plays a huge part in susceptibility to accidents and sometimes you can be the best/safest rider in the world and have some shit luck when some Asian driver doesn't see you. It's too much fun for you to constantly be paranoid about all that though.

Colourclassic that might be because of a larger proportion of cars on the road lol

Even if fewer motorbike accidents than cars, they do tend to be more serious for even small bumps!

Yeah that pretty much sums it up, the longer you do it, the more chance your number is up..

I can see sensible riders obviously being more aware of what the consequences are and being much safer.

Also the longer you do it the more you can develop bad habits or get lazy with your riding. Sometimes learners are the safest...other times they are the most dangerous. Lots of variables.

One thing for sure though, no one ever died just from getting their Ls, so you should! There's just nothing like the blurriness / slowing of time you get from riding a super sport!

I dunno, I guess the heightened awareness from lack of A/B/C pillars, radio and a higher outlook makes me feel more in-touch with what's going on around me, so I feel safer. Is it actually safer in a crash? Narp.

That said, I don't really ride on the road much these days, it's no fun compared to track.

anyone recommend a place (turbo?) to purchase garett turbo compressor wheel/housing and machine works to fit to existing turbine...? Not ATP. Got nothing against Kip, just think this job is beyond our communication skills.

Rotormaster, was told they're the one to see for Garrett turbo

Drove my mates stock BA XR6 turbo today, was painfully slow. Should it feel quicker than a stock-ish Gts-t?

When I drove one of these I was quite disappointed after all the hype they got. My GTS-T with exhaust did indeed feel quicker. Could have been a shoebox though...the guy was running it straight off the turbo no air filter lol
