im not too cluey on stones and gems, but surely these arent worth as much as theyre selling them for.... people into healing stones dont usually have a few grand to spend on them (or do they?)

also, considering getting my TE37's powder coated in red. anodised aluminium coating is a bitch to clean, and was never a fan of bronze.

Edit: hadnt even thought of plasti-dipping them. might do that for starters.

sold a 2 door n/a 33 for 10k a few years ago dem p plate laws.

manual and coupes will go for about 1k more usually, maybe more. Mine was pretty zippy enjoyed it on my Ps. 123rwkw bro, dat healthy engine.

Probably liked it more than my GTR to be honest. (like fun vs price, obviously GTR is the better car.. ) used to do some fun shit with that little n/a. Maybe I was just young and stupid.

cool. might consider. would like to rock green wheels for a bit.

thanks for the tips, was looking for a new powdercoater since the one on cochranes rd is a bit of a joke.

kit looks great plattsy. might snap it up now, will do it over weekend. yo alvin, if i buy the kit you can borrow spray gun for $20 and provide your own lime?

no worries mate, i bought one litre of matte black, enough to do micra front bumper, grill and bonnet, still have about 250mm left.

maybe buy the litre and have spare for touch ups?

warning, the freight is nasty cos its dg.

i'll just buy my own. Any excuse to get more tools, is a good excuse.

honestly ish, this stuff is a piece of piss, clean rims, wash down with wax and grease rem, spray. leave for 10 mins, spray. repeat until thick as you like.

then clear coat it if you want it to last longer than a year!

what kind of clear coat?

farkin e-toll karnts. 3 days of tolls cost me $54 with the hire car. only overcharged me $2.80 on one of them. not worth sitting on hold for 20mins to argue. when they say use of toll roads will only cost $3.30 a day = normal toll cost + $3.30 service fee + exceeding 100kms a day in hire vehicle fee (which they never told me about). city link is espensive :(

lesson learnt.

Yeah, looks alright! Moreso if it was worth it, when I'll probably get a new set of rims altogether type thing haha.

Although this might (probably will) mean new tyres and coilovers... So nek minnit 3K purchase lol...

Your es is white isn't it? Fluro Orange. Kgo.

Yah, white. Haha maybe :P.

Hey Guys, is this car too good to be true? http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1999/SSE-AD-2134462/?Cr=21&sdmvc=1

I'm in the market for a 34 non-turbo and this one looks good, a bit too good.

Clean on the outside / Engine bay looks nice too...

The Km's are getting up there...

Big hole where the stereo was suppose to be...

High price to milk it out of P Platers as the car is P Plater friendly...

BB6 would pull pretty nicely imo. And could be leather interior etc notbad.jpg

But might be getting harder to find a nice example.

Also K-swap little EGs?

S2K,86 my picks if budget allowed.

EP3R coming down in prices, I think, too.

cheap, powerful, aus built car with japanese parts (ie, best of both worlds)... we all know the answer. SSS.

FTOs in manual are quite quick, P-plate friendly and coupes. got a face only a mother could love though, and parts are difficult + paint fade is common.

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.

    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
