Love straight out exhaust on almost any car just to see how natural and beasty an engine can sound. Used to do it to most cars I'd put up on the hoist.

But gawd, the day I took the mufflers off my R1 and started it up. Shit shook my car port.

short pipes/side pipes = hnnnng

normal exhaust length without muffler/cat or hotdog = pretty terrible. DECA is all about SR's and RB's with no mufflers and they all get kicked off track days when they go to a circuit. half because loud, other half cause sounds bad.

can pick up classics for sub 5k, cheap fun.
