I has 18x9+32 all around, fitted fine and only scraped on bumpy corners...had guards rolled and all good.

As for not clearing calipers, that's all rim design regardless of size, though I'm thinking they must look like this

Not really. Some rims dictate caliper clearance by offset, and some by face design. Totally depends on construction

There was less than 1mm of clearance to the brembos on the evo with them on it... And they'd taken the red paint off in a few spots. Swapped from 18x9.5's to 17x9's and suddenly have 2cm of clearance
