so it's time to get the S14 back on track.

got car started and moving today,

found a animal nest and crap under bonnet, excuse to by a kartcher and blasted that shit clean.

so I went over al the wires and hoses checking they had not been chewed.

and I found 1 split hose.

pulled the host off to find that in the plastic tee that the host plugged into had a screw in the end jaming it off with the ose covering it.

from the pic below it is the hose that is listed as "to turbo"

I cannot work out where that hose ends up, does it need to be blocked off or can I just cut and tuck it?

sorry to ask a car question in here but you never know some-one might have an answer.

is there time to change before bus leaves/at airport/at camp?

Nop new policy in place. Bus departs straight from office to airport.

Gain an additional hour of productivity as no work time wasted on changing at camp.

nope high viz clothing is allowed as it deemed a uniform.

which is funny

as the complaints were from the suits about the high vis clothing in the lounges.

I seriously don't see an issue about it, it's somewhere to kill an hour prior to a flight that they happen to have some free snacks and booze,

who cares what people wear.

They hate us because they anus

Hi-vis for lyf

lounge has says they will let you use showers and get changed is not correct on arrival.

Boost solenoid connected to post afm intake pipe and wastegate actuator. I'd imagine the other end is likely connected to a nipple on the turbo outlet. Am assuming you're running the stock solenoid setup? I could be wong as I have nfi about SR's

It's like S13's and R32 GTST's though. Used to be everywhere now (Especially 32's) see maybe one every 6 months. Tipping Silver 34 GT/GTT's will be the next endangered species.

    • Thanks for that.... If only I could do something once and be happy with that, like some people do....
    • I had no transmission at all so I managed to find a big box manual gearbox from an R34 GTT for an insanely good price in EU. I converted it to push type which cost more than the transmission almost, with parts from Amayama! These engines are very strong and can put out decent power with a properly sized turbo. You can save on money from parts like pistons and rods, and invest those in the transmission and other parts. I suggest you join the RB20 Enthusiasts facebook group, plenty of info and almost daily posts there about 20DE/DET/Neo+T builds. (I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by mentioning third party platforms, just trying to help the buddy out)
    • Yeah, having tried all of those methods including BBQ+recipro/hacksaw, I ended up buying a bush press kit under $150 that works well, like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355967727167?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=sfmmuhxgqhm&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=dJvnaZ11TB-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY It basically has a range of pushers and cups with threaded rods between to press out a range of large bushes. The problem with any sawing solution is minimising damage to the subframe side, although it probably needs a quick sand afterwards no matter what solution you try due to damage
    • Hi. Thanks for the answer. I do not have instagram 😄 I too considering turbo the RB20DE NEO 🙂 But i think i upgrade the gearbox first or at least buy new.
