Ok so I jumped the gun a bit. Re read the letter. It's addressed to "the owners" at our current address in Scoresby (where we rent) but the address listed that the NBN is being installed at is our house in Shepparton...so our tenants in Shepparton, are getting NBN..... Before us.... We (living in Melbourne) aren't even on the bloody list yet!!!

Yeah perhaps average is better description Adsl 2 is about as good as it gets. By international standards Australian internet seems sloppy.
