It's the same tank, 33 and 34 are the same car underneath apart from some revisions and minor length change which happens between the back and front seats.

about two weeks ago they forced win 7 onto all the desktops without telling staff overnight

then they had to restore crap from backups etc as people lost their data

1) poor strategy

2) poor comms

3) local data risk

4) v behind basic OS lifecycle schedule

but otherwise its probably good

i applied for a role there a few weeks ago

i know two other people who work there too

Unrelated:

Today switched from 50,000km old KU31 235s on the front and nearly bald R1R 265s on the rear to AD08 255s and AD08R 265s respectively.

Wow what a transformation. Those tyres are unbelievably good value for the $220 each they cost me. So much corner grip it's ridiculous; just turns in so well with the 255s up front. And finally a set of road tyres that can hold my 2nd gear all the way through - time to break out the G-tech again Leigh

Mind you, those KU31 are an incredibly hard wearing tyre. Still 40% tread left on these. Awesome value for a daily driver not pushing too much power.

Not if you pay enough money to AASA... There is NO WAY we'd be able to get insurance for 4 people in a car with no helmets and 30 on the track at a time... but they classify it as a Cruise Event and it's all fine apparently...

im glad people are doing it off the street (though i doubt many at the event save it for the track anyway), but surely there has to be a better way of holding such an event without damaging a racetrack.

I liked working for nab. I was in complaints. Had a very good work life balance. Good management and good people. I just hated the travel to the city and the city itself.

Lol what a load of bullshit.

We have been rolling out win 7 for about 6 months now and it comes on a new laptop entirely. The few desktops that remain are still running XP.

Before moving to win 7 you get 11ty billion emails explaining exactly what to do, when and how.

Nab is great. Work/life balance is amazing and the culture is very strong. Most people stuck around for a LONG time. We do pay less than the other 3 however generally have higher bonuses

(Which kinda backfires when you we buy failing banks in England and have to provision hundreds of millions then cut bonuses lol)
