If its only listed as a lancer they wont know. They don't inspect straight transfers, they dont even inspect if you buy a car from interstate aslong as it has reg on it.

Purchase price or market value - whichever is higher. So if you sell a car to a relo for $10 you should put market value... Believe vicroads can fine if you put something unreasonable

My car cost me 3K so I put 3K, Insurance valued it at 10.5k and haven't had any issues with making a claim. Haven't made an at fault claim though so idk.

The transfer fee in general is a load of horse shit, nothing but a money maker.
