I'm only friends with one, and just as a hi how are you if I ran into her, otherwise f**k that. I have enough respect for my current gf than to be running around talking to my exes.

It is only possible to be friends with your ex if the relationship was a stupid idea in the first place. Don't try and tell me otherwise birds lol.

It's good that you were able to cut ties, but you gotta be able to stick to it, sometimes the easier way of sticking to it is to just rebound, or constantly go out with mates, it will show u that you don't need her, and will piss her off as well when she figures you don't need her.

If you're friends with an ex and your gf has an issue with it, then she doesn't trust you / jealous / insecure. I don't change my friends to suit a girlfriend, they must adapt to my life, like I adapt to theirs. Saying "if the relationship was a stupid idea in the first place", well you can say that about any relationship that ends really, if you're one for regrets. More important in deciding potential for friendship again is if you were friends beforehand or not, and how strong willed you are.

And stop trying to piss off exes / get revenge lol. Unless they cheated on you and you wanna hurt them, it's just you trying to win her back cause you know if she said "let's get back together" you'd do it in a heartbeat. Moving on is actually moving on, i.e. ex doesn't affect your decision making abilities or actions in any way,

If they have broken up for a while and have been friends and hanged out for a while before you dated its ok

If it's a recent breakup or they never really hung out and if my gf says oh btw im just going out tonight to see my ex. I would be raging

I agree with your view. The friendship needs a test of time to prove to yourself that you aren't getting back with them / trying to. A recent break up is dicey cause you likely still have feelings or the ex does, which is unfair on your new partner. But if it's that recent, it's probably too soon to be dating someone new anyway.
