In your case fair enough, but in terms of I.T stuff I've got co worker in same role as me, studied some uni computer science course for years only to end up with the same role/pay as me and owing $$,$$$ in hecs lol

Depends on what you want to do, I.T is pretty much all hands on / experience.

Sucks to be that guy. It's the cheapest loan you'll ever get though

I just don't think about mine lol

So need to change mobile phone providers as I wont have reception once i move across.

Have 6 months left of contract @ $60/month with free iphone 4s

6months * $60 = $360 remaining

Called up to cancel contract; they say to end contract it will cost $280 termination fee + $100 handset payment = $380

To cancel early will cost me more than remaining with them for 6 months -__-

They gave me an option to return the phone and have all fee's and handset costs waived.

But then i'll be stuck with no phone...

Could sign up for a new 24mnth contract and get an iphone 5 today but I heard the 5S is only a couple months away

Or buy a cheap phone for $150-$200 until the 5S comes out

Or pay $400 to keep my 4S and sell for $200 when the 5S comes out

Thinking best option may be to pay the $400 and resell once the new 5S comes out :/

Where is Aaron with his telecom connections?

i have an old n97 you can have if you pay for postage, its semi smart but painfully slow by modern standards.

i just upgraded my SGS2 to a HTC one

but would need to factory restore it and i think the samsungs locked to optus, nokia is unlocked.

call the telecommunications ombudsman and tell them you have attempted internal dispute resolution however it was not acceptable.

the issue is that you are required to move for work and they can not provide reception.

the ombudsman will accept the complaint and give you a number to call (the telco's external disputes resolution team)

this will cost them $50 (telco)

you then speak to someone and they will just accept to cancel your contract outright and let you keep the handset based SOLELY on commercial reasons.

If you escalate the complaint further and the ombudsman accepts it (which they will in this case), it will then cost them (telco) $500 (which is more than the termination fee)

so for them it's now lose $300 or $500

biggest problem i see with all this is you're only considering iphones... :P

Mum's manual Soarer has had some engine issues for a couple of years, since we rebuilt the engine. It was driveable, but ran gutless on and off boost, jolting all over the rev range under WOT etc. I always felt it was running overly rich. We had rebuilt the engine with random forged pistons and rebuilt the turbos too (after an incident involving flood waters).

Got it dyno'd recently - 120rwkw and 5psi (stock is ~8psi) lol. Prolly wiring/sensor issues plus the forged pistons with god knows what compression, untuned. Soarers usually make at least 140-150rwkw stock.

Greddy E-Manage + tune = instant 170rwkw @ 10psi. No exhaust, no cooler, just the ECU and boosted. COMPLETELY different car on and off boost. Has never felt this good since the day we bought it. 1JZ <3 again.

inb4 Hamish still a Soarer

Wasteland brahs quick advice

As I dont know much about stretched tyres or stanceworks or hektik mexican poke and strech

Bought some 9.5inch rims with Achilles 235 crappy tyres on them so lots of stretch.

Need to run these temporarily before I can order some proper 265 tyres.

Max psi for the tyre says 50psi.

What psi should I have the tyres at to minimize chances of the rim rolling off the tyre?

As when I went to the servo one tyre was on low psi and the rim actually came off the tyre 1/2 way

I've put in 36 psi for now.

Safe to go fast around corners with streched tyres or not really?
