On the 10th of May 2011, the 2011/12 Federal Budget was released with a focus on Fringe Benefits Tax as it relates to motor vehicles. These changes simplify the treatment of FBT for the future. The new regime also makes salary packaging a motor vehicle more beneficial for drivers travelling low annual kilometres.

must know what they changed

done quote sent off to lease plan

lets see what comes back

surely cant be that much difference

if i can get a brand new dualis or cruze on 160 a fortnight

All you need to do is ask.

Government is introducing a statutory rate of 0.2 to be phased in over the next 3-4 years to calculate the FBT liability instead of different rates for different KM's travelled IIRC.
