That aside i now have a Apex Hybrid Return Flow intercooler

That looks like a rb20 fmic with a custom pipe to make it fit.

I have the exact same fmic but mine bolted straight up without that extra shiny pipe.

How much it set you back?

Why ?

Cleaning doesn't make it perform any better.

When i take front bar off i may paint the pipes black but that's all.

Well it was Rob Forbes' ex track car... and he did a hideous backyard respray of the front bar before sale, with what looks to be zero prep to the surface. Paint is chipping off like he didn't even wash it down before painting it.

Rest of the car isn't too bad... mainly just the bonnet and front bar.
