Sigh, forced to take 12 days of annual leave from the 22nd to the 12th of Jan because not going well / no work around.

know that forced leave feel.

but boss doesnt keep track of how much I have accumulated, sooo... he'd probably be nice enough to allow me 3 weeks without much questions

Well I'm forced to take one of those weeks unpaid, because I'd go -22 hours otherwise, and f**k that if i want to go away anywhere next year would be too hard and have no leave. A bit annoying, but I'll try to enjoy the time off and go upto Bright with the family/friends anyway probably.

Definitely. I don't believe in hurting the people that cared about the idiot. It's not thier fault and they have lost a mate no matter how much of a scumbag he is was

This, which is the reason I'm not on the VicPol FB saying he deserved it.

But I do wish it was more widely reported as stolen rather than credited as his bike, cause that seems to have been largely swept under the rug and family/friends certainly won't make mention of that. Very surprised the media missed that or police neglected to mention - their page is littered with reports of stolen vehicles involved in crashes or other crimes.

Perhaps when it's a fatality they figure it's a small detail?

I'd say a relevant detail given bike was being ridden with no number plates and speed was clearly a factor in the accident. Poor woman driving is being discredited/FBshamed by all these motorcyclists for being a shit driver when it's obvious he was speeding on a bike that wasn't his to begin with.

What if it was a stolen exotic car? Ultimate media dilemma.

Asshole arrogant rich man doing 280 crashes and dies

Or

Thief stole some rich mans exotic car and then died from a lethal amount of hooning

Yeah I'm not disagreeing just offering a suggestion as to why they left out that detail

Think they left it out because the journos would have asked for a few details at the scene and cops neglected to mention it was stolen / hadn't established it at the time. I'm just surprised they haven't updated the report. But at the same time, a motorcyclist dying doesn't constitute coverage these days, which is pretty sad, both because of the media's attitude and that it is so common..the latter probably causing the former. We'd rather here about the freak death of a cricketer who turns out was every Australian's best friend, that I'd never heard of prior to his death.
