As it's a falcon, does it have all the mounting points already under the back end? So its just a bolt up kit and you just need to connect up a plug in the boot (could already be there?)

Its not like it's a "Weld xxx to subframe" job...

yeah its just an ebay kit.. bolt it up plug in and done I guess.. hardest part will probably be cutting a neat hole in my rear bar?

So senheiser is good? Buying a pair for the plane trip to/ from Thailand, was gonna go jb and try some on but was leaning towards senheiser momentum if they sound good as they don't look as terrible as half the others, and aren't apple beats

I've been running some HD515's here at work for about 3-4 years and they've been great... Only considering replacing them now because the foam is starting to collapse (you can buy the foam bits separately... but really I just want a new toy.

And yeah, bass is a little bit lacking... but honestly when I'm sitting at my desk in an open plan office I can't have them cranked too loud anyway or people will notice, they're open backed so a bit of sound comes out those slits as well

this is why I'm not stressed about the lack of bass in the wireless ones.

I originally bought them for home to watch TV when katie on Night shift.

sound was not up to it tho, transferred to work and prefect, isolate me enough and I can go to the printer and such without taking them off.

and they don't annoy others.

Ended up being a gigantic tightarse and bought these.

Sound is nice and clear. Not tinny with super loud highs like some cheap earphones. mid range is good, bass is lacking as is to be expected overall though good for $20 and more than adequate for the one time in the foreseeable future I'm actually going to be using them.

Make sure you got the right thing to plug in I bought headphones nothin fancy like yall ballers but only had 1 jack but needed 2 for sound both ears else it was a bit dodgy.. That was on a380 not sure if it applies for all planes don't fly much ..

vast majority of plane have the dual plug (tho one of the cathay pacific ones I last week had normal..good sign)

so people don;t steal the headphones off the plane for home:

I just have some of these:

to convert, but buy a few as you always end up leaving them on the plane after a long flight.

    • Well, turns out not a lot happened from back then to now, between life again, and working on 3 separate other cars (only one of which was mine, and will now be departing the household soon).   So I decided with the whole "don't go outside, it's a cyclone!" Turning in to being not a whole lot, I ventured down to the garage, found a couple of water leaks in the shed (the main one I've already fixed), and then ended up "stuck" as it started pouring rain, and I didn't want to walk back inside in the pouring rain. This meant I ended up taking a look at the Skyline, and trying to work out what past Matt had been upto. I retraced a few things out from scratch, added the rest of the power feeds in that I needed for the indicators, and headlights. Double checked I'd wired a few things up correctly (and worked out how I wired a few things to begin with), updated my sparse notes. Added one of the ground points. Oh, and got really really dusty, as the car is quite dirty. Wrote up quickly what should be left for me to do with the wiring too. Adding the below photos more for my records than anything else. I need to make myself a proper book for the car that details everything, and how I've done it, but for now, this is my records... The third image is my most important one for me, and I need to draw it out into a proper schematic eventually. The last photo is my re-written list, I'd have put it on the white board, except I had to take the white board down to fix one of the water leaks.
