the spec clutch, stage 3+ set him back 800 bucks, but that was for street driveability, there are still stage 4 and 5 which are unsprung and higher clamp loads.

i forgot the other name, but i think it was PBR, they make factory standard clutch, slightly higher clamp loads, and they are 550 bucks new, or you can get the racing version which was 780 bucks new.

the stock one is fine and works great, but i have no idea about the racing version...

Nismo coppermix twin plate are highly recomended for driveability and strength (but not that cheap). I have an unknown single plate aftermarket clutch that came out of the parts GTR I got my gearbox from and it is lasting well but I haven't been to the drags yet and don't do full power launches.

ive driven with one of these in a 34r and are a great clutch and a good compromise for street and trackwork.

imho worth paying a bit moar for quality parts, especially if they are wear and tear items.

Npc do a 33 gtr clutch off the shelf for $630

NPC are QLD based

i am probably looking at just a factory replacement at the moment

sorry, they were former PBR, now they are clutch industries (CI), part numbers are as follows: r2364n r34 gtt, r2102n r33gtr and rpm2102n is high performance r33 gtr

is there much difference between 34gtt and 33gtr?

5,000RPM, 7,000RPM dumps.........geez guys, no wonder there is clutch slippage, gotta expect that with that sort of load!!!!!! Hey Darrin, ever broken an input shaft with that sort of clamping pressure??

I am not sure what has gone wrong with my car. There is no strange noises from the gearbox. I have had a look underneatth and the clutch is working Ok and you can see the lever operating the pressure plate.

If you have engine off, push it into gear and try to start it with clutch in, it tries to drive. So the clutch is not disengaging.

If it was imput shaft, I thought there would be some bad noises to be heard. They do break with similar power and above

To get a GTR or AWD Stagea to launch without bogging down off the line, you HAVE to be doing 5000rpm plus.

Until the box comes out, I will not know for sure. Will be a 3-6 weeks before it goes into the shop.
