Ive got offered a pretty awesome deal for these rims new.

Just been reading about them and ive heard good and bad stories about them, the owners of them say there good but peoples friends uncles parrots brothers crack after going over road works and stuff.

Whats the quality of these and whats everyone 2 cents about them???

A Pro is apparently they weigh like 8kgs o.O

the wheels will be used for daily use, long trips, some track work and some skid pad work. so has to be sturdy. although atm my GTT is only about 180 rwkw.

Im thinking these or drift teks, is there anything else that looks similar that people think id like???

any input will be greatly appreciated but please dont over or under exaggerate, this is my wallet after all :P

thanks guys,

Jarrad.

Been running 18x9.5 P45R's on the GTR for about 18 months now with no issues, and really why would there be issues.

I don't drive into kerbs, I dont go offroad, I don't drive through roadworks and potholes - So basically I drive like a normal person and not like a "P plater drift champion".

Wheels don't just crack by themselves, abuse generally does it.

Yeah not to keen on dish. That's why I like the other ones :D

Think 18 8.5 +25 would fit a gtt good right round??

Don't want to roll guards so 9.5 is out

Yeah Thats right smithy. I found it hard to believe they'd just break lol.

as said generally they shouldn't break unless your giving them heaps of abuse... got mah drift teks yesterday. just need to get some hub rings and some wheel nuts and ill have them on. 18x9.5 drift teks are 12 Kg btw

Does flat face mean it'll hit the guards??? I don't know much about rims lol.

I'm thinking of getting 18 inch 8.5 inch with +25 offset.

Will these look good and will they hit??

wow that looks horrible imo just put my drift teks on same size and offsets as sunny's only gold/bronze ill hopefully be able to take some photo's at some point when it stops raining here. needa adjust coilovers now tho lol, i don't like the flat faced ones. btw my rears are 9.5" +34 and they sit pretty well

there a link to my 34. drifteks 8.5 +34 front and 9.5 +34 on the rear. 8.5 on the driftek will be concaved but on the rotas they will be flat faced. if you are getting rotas you will need a 9.5 +20(ish)

Hmm looks pretty nice. Well ive been offered p45rs in any size in 18s I want for 1200. 1100 for 17s delivered so can't really pass it up, and I want the same size right round so I can rotate Tyres. So what should I do?? I've been told the 17s by 9 will fit my car heaps better but I want 18s. Do you think the concave is worth getting 17s for?? Personally I don't know or care to much about flat or concave, but do they look shit in the eyes of a wheel whore?? Hah.

    • Yours would only have been worse, because I've spent 2 weeks cleaning mine. And yet it barely looks any different... Ha ha ha The work bench is unusable as things are stacked so high on it, as it down each walk way between the cars. And on one of them. And inside the other... And under one of them... These days when working in the garage, I need to roll the Subaru out. Because the "workshop" portion is just so full of stuff... To do anything means to move lots of stuff...   But I recently got rid of a full rack of fish tanks, and a few more. Then have started just throwing shit that's actual rubbish. And trying to sort everything else! Ha ha ha   Needing to move the Lathe into its proper spot, and then move all the other gear like the press, compressors, welding trolleys.   And let's not talk about the camping gear... I want to get rid of it, the GF wants to go camping... I think I'm getting to old to want to camp these days   Oh, I also evicted a few things, like the motorbike outside ages ago too! Ha ha ha This is all in a 6x9

Who knows where the night may take us... What we do know is that there are plenty of food options available at the Penrith Panthers complex. For those of us keen to hit a few golf balls, prices start from $7.00 a bucket. Aqua Golf is open til late, so we have plenty of time to have a few hits and laughs with each other!
