Pfc Hand Controller

I have just put in some Denso 720cc injectors into the GTR and am now up to going through the PFC hand controller and adjusting the settings.

When I go into the the injector screen as per the FAQ it all reads 0.0% and 0.00ms, yet I was under the impression that it should read 100% with the standard injectors. Anyway I adjusted the correction to 61.6% and 0.19ms latency and the car started and ran, a little lumpy, but nothing too bad. I went out of that screen and back in but the settings I had just put in had all reverted back to the original 0.0% and 0.00ms.

Does anyone know why the settings aren't staying there? Could it have a Datalogit lock out for adjusting these kind of things? Assuming the computer is running the original settings but with the larger injectors,it would just be running rich, so will it be right to take to the tuners 10mins away? Or should I just chuck the old injectors back in and give it to the tuners to figure out?

sounds like its been locked. if you've already had it running then you should be able to drive it there, just take a spare set of plugs incase you foul them.

Also in Paul's power fc manual is another reason the settings don't save. It can happen on situations where an engine converison has been done, you have used a power FC, but havent wired the relays and power to the ecu correctly. The information on how to fix this is in guide. If its note a wire in, you should also investigate those relays and wiring involved anyway.

The ECU is sent a signal to save when the ignition is turned off, but it actually turns itself off after about 3 seconds after you turn the key off. If you listen you should hear a relay click a few seconds after switching the key from on to acc.

If it is an R33 RB25 you need constant battery power to pin 58.

So do i just hook up pin 58 to constant power, ill put an inline fuse as well.

Or does it need a relay somewhere?

And yes its R33 RB25.
