hey guys,

bought a new r33 gtst a couple of months ago, and just got it registered, everything is working fine except my ABS (which isnt the relays :() and the diff,

upon jacking up the rear of the car, i turned one wheen by hand - the other didnt move, happened both sides. then turned the car on and gave it a few revs and only the left wheel would turn...

basicaly is my diff just stuffed beyond repair, or is this a common thing? or something shimming can fix?

cheers heaps

It sounds like it's broken. You shouldn't be able to turn just one wheel. Even an open diff should turn the other wheel in the opposite direction. And even though you 'can' shim a viscous diff, it's not actually a real fix for anything, and it's not going to fix your problem.
