Hey all I Put a rb25 into my vl commodore about 6 months ago and i am having a few isues with the engine.

I brought a wrecked s2 r33 for the engine, the engine has a gready style plenum and every thing else apears to be stock.

I put the engine in and wired it up from the instructions i got from r31 forums, and the instructions said i need to hook up

Temp sender wire

Ign positive

constant positive

taco

fuel pump triger

Got the car running but it has trouble starting you have to hold your foot on the throtle it still takes a bit to start. and if you rev it up and put your foot on the clutch pulling up to the lights it stalls.

the car had no Bov but i fitted a turbo smart one but it still does the same thing.

I have cleaned the aac valve but no change

I looked at the wiring diagrams and found i hadnt hooked the starter motor triger to the ecu so i fixed that but it still is hard to start.

I found i didnt have power going to the aac valve/ idle control solinoid and Vct i fixed that but it still is hard to start.

What else have a missed?

Do i have to setup the idle properly now i have power to the aac valve?
