R33 Intake, What Fuel Rail (R32/33/34) Gives The Most Injector Options?

Recommended Posts

I have to go through a defect inspection which means I need a stock rail to pass, I have an r34 neo motor with an r33 intake on it currently, what 'stock' fuel rail out of rb20/25s will give me the best injector options and bolt in without modification? I was planning to change this as the stupid alloy rail and aftermarket reg I have now sucks and I don't like it (came with the car) plus it will never pass an inspection so this has sped up my plans. The car has been legally registered with the rb25 so this is not an issue.

I've done a bit of a search but not really found any definite answer, I would be looking to put in 550 to 700cc injectors, preferably ones with a better than stock spray pattern, if a resistor pack is needed that is not an issue. I'm pretty sure the r33 intake uses a side mount fuel rail standard so would like to keep it looking stock.

What are my options?

edit: Also I doubt this but are there any distinguishing features on stock injectors, eg colour etc on rb25s? I don't know what they look like, will try and paint whatever I get a similar colour.

so do you guys have experience using that deatschwerks injectors? prices look good

There are good product few threads on them

And rolls I'll take a pic of mine when I get home if you like they are stock but zebra right the stock ones are darker

teh stockies are dark purple. i have a spare set sitting right here. you can have them if you come pick them up?!

might be worth grabbing them just so I can match the colour, you don't want anything for them?

been defected and Regency park here in Adelaide are VERY anal and thorough, he picked my highflow last time because it was 'cleaner than everything else, you've had this rebuilt haven't you'. They check literally everything, they are so clued up they know that Z32 afms have an orange sticker instead of green, I'm sure they know what colour the injectors are meant to be.
