With daylight savings here, and the warmer weather coming up, it's time to get back in to the whole fitness thing.

Who's doing it, what workouts are you using and are there any supplements to compliment running?

When I stopped in march I was jogging about 5km straight, after a 7 month break I can hardly jog 1km it's amazing how quick you lose it. So far I've just been heading down to a nearby national park and jogging til I can't jog anymore, walking for a few mins then back to jogging, I carry a small bottle of water and use Run Keeper for iPhone to track pace, elevation and make a pretty map of my course. I go after work and before dinner, as food and running sure as hell don't mix!

What's everyone else doing?

Im getting into interval training, 1min brisk walk then 30sec sprint and repeat for 20mins.

Ive been coughing up all sorts of interesting things on account of it knackering the shit outta me! Must get a heart rate monitor tho, want to see how my rates go as well estimated calorie burn.

You are both trying too hard.

Back it off a notch (or two) and make it so that the effort is sustainable over months/years etc. You will still improve - just with less effort and over a longer period.

Otherwise you will get fed up and end up back where you started. Or injured. Or both.
