What turbo you running? Is the motor built with cams etc? Thats a good power at 15psi! My car has 270rwkw with bout 21psi on a stock motor with a GTX3071 if your fuel system is up to it 20 psi is no drama!

Put it this way mate my car has 850cc injectors and tomei 276Lpm pump and my boost spiked up to 26.6psi in 3rd gear with plenty of revs and throttle and the motor didnt make a sound it shouldnt of!

But obviously i wouldnt recommend it on a stock motor! But alot of blokes in here run 20psi on stockas reliably if ya motor is relatively healthy and you dont abuse it too often :whistling:

No ideaonthe turbo but according to previous owner was biggest highflow. Done by ATS

Stock internals as far as i know, no cams or camgears, fuel systemis easly up to it.

Im

Not sure whats good for that turbo but mabye look at a retune orgionaly this car made 236rwkw on 16psi from turbo tune, then jeff gave it a real tune.

ATS, would be GT30 internals in a factory t3 housing machined to fit. Most power you will get out of it is 270-280kw before its out of its range and starts surging or going hyper (aka, spinning n making more boost with no power increase, much like a non actuated turbo) The factory front housing doesnt like boost over 18psi, have seen em crack before but then again have seen em running on 20+ with no problem. Either way i wouldnt push it, if its still healthy, get rid of it and upgrade to something that will handle the power you want with ease.

18psi from an ATS highflow would just be starting to reach the happy zone. I have an ATS "highflow" of sorts, with a GT3076R ball bearing internal wastegate core - front is a stock compressor cover ported out to the extreme, rear exhaust housing is a .73ar AVO unit for the 6-bolt skyline style.

Bill Keen from ATS builds his turbos to take up to around 22psi comfortably, 18psi would be nice and sweet for an unopened motor.

Make sure your fueling is ok, same with cooling. But with 270rwkw currently Id say that probably isnt an issue. At 18psi you could expect 280rwkw, at 20psi perhaps up to 300rwkw.

I use and recommend Bootworx, however Willal Racing is a SAU:SA club sponsor and Martin Donnan would have to be the best tuner in the state.

sorry to burst your kw bubble but i would almost certainly put money on it that 270kw was a happy dyno

Bill rates that high flow to 270,

first thing first go see Martin at >>Willall Racing<< and get a power run and advice on if he can improve the tune or extract more boost

Hey I'm with you

rb25 15psi for 270 is high

Run it on the mainline dyno @ Willal for a more realistic readout

As Steve said. Best thing to do would be to take it to Willall. Get them to do a power run and then look into getting more boost, better tune and see what it spits out. 270rwkw on 15psi would certainly not be coming out of a highflow.

Cheers for the imput guys. Il give willall racing a ring next few days n see how much it is.

Yea even i figured it was a bit much non the less put a massive smile on my face on boost ;)

Just a quick thing the highflow was 2700. Wouldnt it have been better to just get a 3076r or something? I know for the whole stock look its good but this thing is clearly defectable catch can, bov all that crap
