Car: 1995 Nissan S14 Silvia.

Budget: $2500 max.

I was originally was going to buy coilovers from a German suspension brand called kw however after noticing that the height adjust-ability is not base height, I decided to look for something else.

Have done a bit of reading around and Buddy Club Racing Spec seems to be giving good results for the price however finding detailed reviews on suspension is difficult.

Does anyone use these?

Within my budget, what suspension would you recommend for track use?

I know a lot of people say get Teins but at the same time, a lot say they would never buy them. I would love Ohlins however at $3500 there's little point spending that much on suspension for my car.

You are going from KW to Buddy Club? Crazy talk! KW are ten times the shock that Buddy Club are.

Edit: buy these: http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/413976-kw-clubsport-coilovers-custom-drift-suspension-new-super-cheap.html

For 2.5k you could probably build a custom Bilstein setup also, but it's a lot of messing around.

I am serious btw, buy those KWs above.

True.

I run Tanabe

It all depends on what you want them for.

I find that usually the most reviews you'll get on various coilovers is "they are/aren't harsh on rough sydney/melb/bris/whatever roads and they handle mad" which is fair enough since most people only buy these types of things once. The buddy club "racing specs" are meant to at the better end of the jap lineup; the shocks have a wider range of adjustment that actually does something and are digressive. KW is meant to be good suspension too and I'd like to try out a set of clubsports one day...
