HiCAS + speakers

hey guys

I've read aroud the place HICAS is sensitive to magnetic field, just wonderig if this is actually the case...

I recently put 2 x 6x9's in my parcel shelf and moved HICAS over a bit as per diagram below:

as you can see form my great art work - the HICAS computer is in the middle, but closer to the right hand speaker (1-2 inches away).

I am wondering:

1. Will the magnetic field affect it?

2. Can I move HICAS down to bottom of the compartment and secure it down there or must it be secure to the underside of parcel shelf?

I am off for a longish drive on friday early morn for easter weekend and don't want to crash when my HICAS ****s itself

I did the same 18months ago....no problems with the HICAS. No reason why you cant put the HICAS computer anywhere it will fit
