Does It Fit ?

hey guy/girl's I was just wondering would a r33 GTR VSPEC rear diff fit and r32 GTR?. Is there much work to make it fit or does it bolt strainght on ?. I think its a bit different from the diff that is is in my car now coz the r33 has an oil cooler and some other stuff on it ...?... Also im looking at swaping out my ABS unit for the r33's ABS aswell would this be a simple swap over ?. Any info would be great

Doesn't the 33 Vspec have Active LSD? Also pretty sure the ratio changes but I could be wrong. If the ratio changes, you need to replace the front diff also

Ratios are the same. Diff should fit in the cradle no problem.

If you want all the parts to swap to a V-spec (active LSD) PM me and I can sell you the whole lot.

How sure are you about ratios?

I've seen 3.9 and 4.11 in those diffs

yes it does have active LSD, so will that be an issue ? will i have to hook up other things to make it work?.

You mean to say that you have seen alternate ratios in the models in GTR from R32 to R33?

Yes. I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head but ALSD R33 should be around a 3.9 and the Mech R32/R33 should be a 4.1

I thought only the active diff from a 34 was a 3.9? With the R33 being a 4.1.

lol does anyone know where i could search for the ratio's for the 32 , 33 , &34's? or should i ask the guy to remove it and find out?... thanks for your help to guys
