Hi all just recently got away from the import scean.

Also just moved from adelaide last few weeks. I havnt gota house thats mine yet (with mates) so dont have a vic lisc or adress yet.

Ive braught a car from syd so it didnt come with plates... Just a 1 week permit.

I can get an inspection for $100 if it passes $100 for the cert.

Is this ok?

Just wondering of i should change my lisc to this adress and change the car to my name etc, just wait not drive it etc till i have an adress. Cheere

not that easy to get it passed in vic. they pick on the stupidest things.

Its an audi a3 2010... Braught today from dealer. Its illigal to sell defectable car so should be ok only 15 thousand on clock so 1 wd hope it will be good!!

well, shouldn't the dealer be doing the rego transfer for you?

Dealer is in Sydney.

Not sure if it's possible to register a car here without Victorian address on either licence or residental address.

Best to ring Vicroads and ask.

Car needs to be registered to a licensed driver with an address I think

Yeah $100 for the inspection and cert these days.

They now take photos of the car but yours is new-ish Audi so you should be fine.
