R34 Volt/amp Gauge Issue

Ok,

So I have just recently noticed that my AMP for my sound system is in safemode, my Volt gauge is sitting at arround 18V and every so often (every ten secs) it drops down but only slightly (not even 1 volt drop)

My headlights, dash and centre console lights all dim at the same time too.

Please note i have just remove the rear hicas and put a locker bar in.

Does anyone know whats causing this?

I have checked the sounds system twice now, it was working before hand.

8 or 18v?

Either way that's way out of whack. Get a multimeter and double check that 18v reading is correct before doing anything else.
