Turbo Identification

Hi the turbo im using on my car at the moment was bought as a hi flowed unit. It is larger than the original stock unit that came off the

car.I have noticed that the compessor wheel has like a 8 blade config but i have not seen any like it. I was told by the person i bought it off

that he was advised by the shop that did the work not to exceed 25psi i have uploaded a couple of pics to see if anyone can identify it and give

any info thanks

Without knowing the actual measurements of the wheels, can't really say much other than it is not standard.

is it just the photo, or does the exhaust wheel have like 1-2mm clearance to the housing??

I agree with above, hi-flow job with massive loose tolerance on the exhaust wheel.. i'd even guess there was 3-4mm clearance

Lots of turbos use that housing, AR60 is just the size. Look on the exhaust housing, does it have OP6 stamped on it? That's the best indicator that it is the standard GTT turbo.

If it has Garrett on it, than it isnt the standard turbo

I thought the s15 was fitted with a garrett with a 60 ar comp housing

every 2nd Garret turbo has .60 A/R on the comp cover
