Dose GTR have the same offset in wheels?
Same offset as what? A Kenworth truck? Morris 850 Mini? What are we supposed to compare the offset to?

As to the second Q, NFI, as I have been unable to decipher exactly what the question is!

Well then, on a GT-R (any GT-R), the fronts and rears should be the same size and same offset, and the tyres should be the same size.

You can go as big in diameter as the tyres you can afford, and I believe you can get up to 10" wide under the guards.

Hi Guys, I have never seen 10's on an R32 with out some guard work, no problems on an R33 or R34 GTR. In fact I have seen an R34 GTR with 10.5's on it but with 285/35/18's tyres. Realistically without guard mods, 9's seem to be the common size on R32 GTR's.

As for front and rear sizes being different, there are plenty of R33 GTR's with 10's on the rear and 9 's on the front. With 305's on the rear and 275's on the front. I can't see any problem with different sizes, the ATTESSA won't care. The rolling diameter difference is a furphy, what happens if you have new tyres on the front and old ones on the rear? There is 8 mm of tread on a new tyre, that's a substantial difference in circumference.

As for wheel offsets, if I change the camber and/or caster on the front I am effecting the SAI and the KPI. This is basically the same as changing the wheel offset and there are plenty of GTR's with non-standard caster and camber. So I think that's a furphy as well.

On the race cars we do run the same size tyres and wheels on the front and rear, but that is mostly so we can easily swap them around. Having different front and rear is a pain when you change the wheels as often as we do.

Hope that adds something to the thread

Hey Sydneykid,

I am currently trying to find out if you can run 280/40/17's all round on a stock (no body mods) R33 GTR. From what you have said here, am I assuming this is no problem??

That being the case, does anyone know who makes a single piece 10" rim to fit these tyres? (without being toooo pricey)
