i don't drive my Stagea (S2 C34 RS Four S) all that much, as it's the wife's daily

however, drove it a while today and it's not making any boost. like zero, none

feels sooooo slugish

recently serviced by a reputable workshop (3 weeks ago)

battery went flat the other day, but i wouldn't imagine that would cause a problem?

any ideas on what i can check/do?

Even reputable workshops can make mistakes! Check all the pipes and joiners for leaks or clamps not done up properly. Is the boost gauge connected properly? If you're careful you can pull the hose off the actuator to see if the problem is with the boost control and if it is work backwards to see where it is going wrong.

look down the passenger side of the engine and see if the wastegate is hooked up the rear housing

did she hear it make any "funny" noises?

check for turbo bits if the wastegate is ok

UPDATE

i may have solved the problem, after just ignoring it the last few years, lol

is the attached pic the boost gauge sensor?

i found the hose had split at the end where it was connected to the sensor

so i cut the tip of the hose off, and reconnected it

before this, the boost gauge would read ~ 0 whether you were idling or giving it stick

now, it is reading almost -7 @ idle, and between half and +7 on boost

that seems better, right???

i also changed oil, oil filter, fuel filter, O2 sensor and air filter at the same time

seems to be running good now.

could that leaky hose have caused the problems described above (i.e. no boost)?

or was the car still boosting, and the gauge just not showing the right boost?

cheers all

I had the hose from boost gauge sensor to plenum split the other day. And wasn't showing boost on stock gauge. But I could defiantly hear something was not right as you could hear what sounded like a vacuum cleaner was in my engine bay when idling. Huge air leak.

did it still boost normally, but just not show on the boost gauge?

or do you think it wasn't boosting as normal?

sounds like exactly the issue i had, and only found recently, lol
