Dr30 > C210 Front Strut Differences

Asking for a mate, well sort of.. We want to go 1/2's in a set of coilovers, he wants the fronts, I want rears.. They are the weld on base type pictured below. Main question is will they work? Is strut tube diameter the same between dr30 and c210?

I'm pritty sure, most datsun struts are the same.

I can confirm when i get back home in 1.5 weeks, got a heap of struts.

J, I would say they are because Koni use the same front insert for both C210 & R30 varieties.

J, Do you know the diameter of C210 struts, because I can put a vernier over a set of DR's I have for spares?

You'll be right. Nearly the whole nissan/datsun range in the same time era have a 51mm strut tube i believe. The only one we have found different were a pair of z31 turbo struts that we got from the wreckers with the bigger p36 bilstein inserts, approx 55mm strut tube.
