How Do I Get The Mobile Version Back?

I had the mobile version on my Android phone and I clicked the full version once and now its in the full version permanently. Anyone know how to get the mobile version back?

Turn it off, should reset, mine does.

It's a Android O/S setting. Not a SAU setting.

You need to open the Menu - More - Settings

Then check the "Mobile View" box, it'll be an option 1/2 way down the menu items. Then simply go back and refresh, the forum should then be in Mobile view again.

Already have the mobile view box ticked... Google, Sydney Morning Herald etc all load in mobile versions... SAU doesn't... Not sure what I did

Ok if that doesnt work the:

When you load the page, bottom left - try changing the "skin" to IP Board Mobile.

Not sure if it will appear for you or not - i can't see it but it's an option for the site.

Ever since the new look sau came online the mobile version no longer works for me. Cleared my cookies cleared my history and now nothing. How do I get mobile version back?

Scroll to the VERY bottom of the website once you load it.

Bottom left hand corner is the button for mobile.

I'm finding that each day when I open sau on my mobile in the morning, it has reverted to the desktop site. don't think it will be cookie related since I'm still logged in...thinking it has something to do with viewing the website on my PC at home...

Thoughts?

I don't use the Mobile version when browsing... So i cannot say unfortunately.

This happens to me as well. I find that if I click on the option to switch to mobile view at the bottom of the page I can browse in mobile view for the current session but once I leave the site for a while (e.g.: after a day which I'm guessing would make the session expire) it reverts back to full site.

^^^^ Same issue im having. Even when I close the window and re-open it reverts back to the full version.

You need to "enable mobile versions" in a subsetting in Andriod IIRC. iPhone - not sure, call Apple

i too am having the same issue with the site reverting back to the desktop site everyday on my phone (android). not sure if it is since the new forum or since i upgraded to ICS 4.0 the other day (haven't paid too much attention). i made sure to save the save the mobile site as a bookmark. have a feeling it's only been since i upgraded to ICS. checked all settings. i should point out that if i close the browser then open it back up straight away it will revert to the desktop site. could it be an issue with the way the site interacts with mobile devices? or at least android devices?

ok so i was just playing around with my phone again before i submitted this post. for some reason if i tick the "request desktop site" option then it shows the mobile version, but if i untick it it goes back to the desktop site. that seems back the front to me. it is still showing the mobile site for google. funny thing is that it also made the mobile site for hotmail start working as well, which sucks arse. so i unticked it and will just scroll to the bottom of the page everytime i want to look at sau from my phone.

ok so it turns out that if i open the page and it opens the full site, if i hit refresh it will then open the mobile version. same goes if i open the bookmark again
