Horn's Electrical Diagram For R33 Gtr

G'day All,

I am looking for an electrical diagram for an R33 GTR's horn system. In addition, I would like to know what cautions I need to take in order to avoid triggering the air bag in the GTR steering wheel while working on the horn switch in the wheel?

on most cars power goes from the fuse to the horn and the other side of the horn goes to the button in the steering wheel.

You really need to find a wiring diagram, as there may be a horn relay in there somewhere as well.

Most horn circuits actually get power from the fuse into the switch then through a relay, if fitted, and then finally earthing through/or after the horn itself.

Try speaking to the trimmers/interior shops for a bit of info on the airbag advice as they deal with this issue all the time.

Thank you guys for the reply.

I've already checked to and from the relay and fuse. Everything looks ok.

All I need is to find the wires that the goes to the horn switch and to earth. I've found a orange and greyish white dotted wire goes to the relay and similar at the 6-8 pin connection point under steering wheel. What will happen if I disconnect this connection point and earth the orange wire?
