Gtr Coolant Woes

G'day all been having problems with my cooling system in my 32. Recently had a leak from a small hole from a pipe at the back of the engine (behind the back of the plenum to be presice). I fixed this and stopped the litre or 2 of coolant that would leak out.

Now I'm finding I still have to put about 2 litres for the week of water back in but there are now no visible signs of it leaking out now I'm worried where it is going. Anyone had similar problem or know where I should start looking?

Was the air bled?

No guess that's a job for 2morrow but where is it going or was their not enough on the first place

Well when water comes out something has to take its place. What takes it's place is air, so bleed it and see if you still have problems.

Edit maybe not enough in the first place? Is there any smoke coming out of the exhaust once the car is warmed up?

I meant not enough water. Will check for smoke 2morrow haven't noticed but I only drive it like 2mins to work

If there's no smoke other than condensation when its cold then that's good.

I don't know if R32's are the same as R33's but mine started doing that when the heater core went. It drains onto the passenger side floor. Check to see if the carpet is wet.

yep my heater core went like that in the 32, passenger noticed a fast leak on the passenger carpet next minute temperature gauge hits the roof
