Will 18X9.5 +12 Size Rims Fit?

Hi guys,

Recently bought a 32 gtr and have just got some wheels for it. Picked up some that are 18x9.5 with +12 offset,

the guy at the shop said they should fit alright but ive put the rim on without a tyre just up on the jack and while

its off the ground it appears to be slightly outside of the guard.

Just wanting to know if they will fit or should i try and take them back.

They will fit with a guard roll and stretched tyres, and depending on how low your car is may scrub on speed bumps/turns.

So say a 235 40 profile tyre would do the trick?

Ausome, bought some adjustable camber arms for the rear just incase haha.

By trial fitting without a tyre, the suspension geometry (when the car is jacked up) is a bit different and will give the impression that the rim is going to stick out more than when it is back on the ground.

So you will find the top of the rim will actually move in towards the guard once the car is lowered back down.

It will definitely need some guard rolling and possibly some stretched tyres depending on how low the car is - will look tough though!
