Rac Towing From House?

Hey guys I've got RAC roadside and are such entitled to a small number (maybe once per year?) of towing. I've had car towed to my house before when it was broken down on the side of a road.

I was curious to know if they would tow your car from your house to a workshop even when you know the car is already f*cked.

Wondering if they only do this when your actually stranded on the side of a road somewhere and they would not generally do it otherwise.

Otherwise I can just push my car down the road and then call em.

I had my car towed from my house to the workshop - i simlpy said it drop coolant and wanted it towed (was actually a blown turbo )

but i did not have the car towed by them first so probably worth a call.

I used to have roadside assistance and ur entitled to as many tows as u like a year but only 1 per breakdown and within 10kms or something. Just bullshit em. Tow truck drivers rip everyone off

I'm also worried about the type of tray truck they use damaging my lowered R34. Might have to call Gerrin to be safe.

I had my car towed recently...broke down at barbagallo....and they towed me back and then two days later to the workshop.....all for free...and I have a classic membership....I live in joondalup..so its not too far however....

you can call them as many times in a year and your entitled to 2 tows per problem....

my car is shit low...mention that when you call...and they send out a guy who owns and carries additional planks etc....

it took a lot of back n forth...but we got there in the end...

one operator refused to do it..but then again he didnt have the planks..even after i mentioned it on the phone..so i called them..and they sent another truck out within half an hour

I went with RAC in the end, lucky the guy had some planks with him. The towie pulled the car up from the back instead as the exhaust was the lowest point.

All my cars are spastically low in my track car the intercooler is about 3 inches of the ground I use como towing good guys and they no what they are doing no scrapage at all pretty good price 2
