Up for sale is pride and possession my 1994 Series 1 R33 Nissan Skyline GTS-T. This car has been very well looked after inside and out as anyone who knows me can tell you the amount of time I spend cleaning and maintaining my car. This vehicle is serviced every 5000km's without fail and that includes the oil, oil filter, plugs and maintenance of the air filter.

I have spent a lot of money and time modifying this car, so the modifications and accessories are as follow.

When the car had 128,000kms, I had a brand new rb30 bottom end installed in the car, with new:

  • forged aria pistons
  • brand new bottom end and top end bearings
  • new crank
  • new ARP head studs
  • shot pinned rods
  • Brand new MLS head gasket

And had the heads cleaned out and serviced.

I then lost my license and started to do more modifications and these modifications took place when the car read 149,00kms:

- Brand new Garrett GT 35/40 ball bearing turbo with a 1.06 rear housing with new flange

- Brand new Nismo 555cc Injectors

- Brand new 48mm Turbo smart External Waste Gate

- Brand New Apexi Pod Filter

- Brand New Boost Obsession Custom 4mm exhaust manifold

- Brand new custom made dump pipe

- R32 GTR nismo front intercooler installed

- Custom made intercooler piping with brand new clamps and silicon bends

- Brand new braided lines for the oil and water for the turbo with heat shield hoses where needed

- Brand new oil catch can

- Custom modified inlet manifold

- Custom made accelerator cable

- Custom box for the pod filter

- Brand new hoses for the heads

- Brand new PWR Radiator

This car also comes with a Greddy turbo timer and a Greddy Boost Controller, the car was resprayed its original colour black about a year ago due to the previous owner owning the car and the colour on the roof and boot was fading so I had it re-sprayed by Bellevue Bodyworks.

Also fitted on the car are the Tien Adjustable coil over's, rear sway bar, have got the front just doesn't fit anymore due to the rb20 block sitting a bit higher than the rb25, and a king sports steering wheel.

Comes with the ROH 18inch drift wheels that are 9 inch wide at the back and 8 inch at the front. I just recently put all 4 brand new tyres on the car, this was probably about 3-4 weeks ago.

Also installed on the car is an Exedy Heavy Duty Brass Button Clutch.

Also is the 3 inch straight through exhaust system with hi flow cat. Also have a standard custom made exhaust from the Dum pipe that bolts on if you ever get in trouble for exhaust loudness.

This car was sent down to the pits due to defects, and as you can see I have Rego on the car now so I passed the tests with flying colours and also provided with the car are all the defect papers, the letter from the DECCW stating my car has met all the requirements and no need for any investigations, it also comes with a legal engineering certificate.

The car has about 6 months rego left on it, the engine number has been changed over at the RTA, and I've got most receipts for the modifications and labour.

The car was professionally tuned by JEM (Just Engine Management) on Mobil 8000 High octane premium unleaded fuel and from my experience only runs the best on this fuel. The car is tuned on 17psi low boost making 329rwkw and high boost at 20psi making 352rwkw. Papers are provided in the folder with all the documents.

The car now has 160,000kms which is all highways km's. I didn't have another car to have as a run around so I unfortunately had to drive my pride and possession to work and can provide proof that it is mostly highway km's as I live in Hurstville and work at Penrith.

The only bad feature about this car is that one day while my car was parked I don't know what but something reversed or hit my rear bar. It has no dents as you can see in the picture; just the paint is cracked a bit in the left corner of the bar.

Mechanically speaking the car is in excellent working order, boosts perfectly and handles like a dream.

Like I said I take great pride and joy in this car and I always look after it and is always garaged.

Im asking for 14,500 not negotiablw for photos and any queries please contact me on 0450273065 or email me at [email protected]

    • You’re all still going on about track cars, he has said multiple times doesn’t intend to take it to the track,  just stick to what was said at the beginning and do the pump and ecu, it’ll get you enough for 230kw at the wheels and has enough poke to be fun for what you want it for
    • All of that is absolutely true. At any time in the history of these turbos the lottery has always been that it could die at stock boost treated exactly as the factory intended, or it could die when pushed to 10, or 12, or 14, or 16 psi, after a short time, or a longer time, or it could last seemingly forever. You have the combination of all the possible statistical (probably) normal distributions of manufacturing tolerances and quality outcomes, on top of the statistical distributions of failure modes (which might be normal, but are probably biased, like Poisson distributions). You get the lucky turbo and you can beat on it for years. You get the really unlucky turbo and it will crap itself as it rolls out of the factory gate. And every possibility in between. But you can definitely still kill the lucky turbo. It's just that most people didn't try, once they knew they really shouldn't try.
    • Maybe I have Stockholm syndrome but working on an M2 isn't that hard. Getting parts cheaply and quickly is hard, but getting parts same day isn't necessarily hard if you're willing to pay way too much for it at local dealers. There's a lot going on, you need to have a build of ISTA on a laptop and the right cable, if you don't have the mindset of "do it exactly right or not at all" you will probably start seeing cascading failures. Skylines are a little more tolerant in that regard. The car doesn't potentially trash itself if you bought the wrong oil filter like a BMW would. Or trash the entire cylinder head and potentially spin a bearing because someone took the anti-drainback valve out of the plastic oil filter cap. An M2 will also do just fine on track, zero oil starvation concerns, factory brakes are great if you change the pads for a high temp compound + flush with track-ready fluid.
    • The "ideal/formula" that used to be touted was death of the turbo is going to be caused by a combination of 3 things. Heat Speed of turbo (boost level you're pushing) Time   Basically, you can get away with high heat and high boost for short periods. But start doing long hard pulls, or circuit driving etc, and now you've increased time as well which will shred things. From memory when Adrian was drag racing he was running 17psi, on a stock turbo, and running insane speeds. But he also had other additives helping in the setup too. Some people have success at 14psi for a while, while others due to pushing the cars hard for long periods opt down to lower temps. But also, generate a lot of heat (let's say bad tune), for a long time, and you'll be okay, until you try to spin that little guy up slightly. It's the one advantage of dumping a lot of fuel in, you'll be reducing EGT a bit and helping with the heat portion of the above 3 areas.   And these days, stock turbos are that old that there's the possibility of just outright failures due to material age. I'm not shocked that even when used in factory spec that a stock turbo fails when 30 years old. It's a worn out "precision" "balanced" performance item, that's likely no longer precise, or well balanced
    • this... hence I said what I said previously, SMSP nights you see mainly Hondas, Evos, A90s, F80x and the odd VW. The 5 or 6 times I went, I only saw 1x R32 GT-R, and other than that I was the only one in a shit box Skyline.
