R33 Cams

Near future has a 25/30 conversion coming up

Currently has nistune and 3076 turbo which I will keep for a while, just wondering what camshafts are the go with out massive head work

I was thinking HKS 256 inlet with 8.8mm lift

And

HKS 264 exhaust with 9.0mm lift

Anyone have this already?

How will/does the car idle?

I have a internal stock 25 and stock head with these cams installed and run a power fc, the idle is fine.

How about a nistune ecu, still be ok yeah?

yep you will be fine ive had them for years if you go the 30 think of going with a 268 inlet or even 264 with no vct

Really? That big. Vct isn't an issue, running it without it now. Won't 268 require a solid lifter conversion?

no call cam tec max lift is 9mm if you go the 3l you will hardly tell my good friend had 280 in his and it was still very streetable

From what I'm told if I fit tomei springs and retainers it will be ok with the higher lift?

Cams and valves etc are not my thing!
