I don't see how they can claim they can run no wastegate at all. If switching the turbo to generator mode slows the turbo down enough to negate the need for a wastegate it will also choke the engine something chronic

well considering that it is a tri turbo setup, i'm guessing that the flow through the turbo is still more than adequate as each turbo is only being fed by 2 cylinders.

Lag is that thing that almost got me in a car accident when my RB20DET failed to boost when I expected lol.
